Last night, we played Scrabble at Flying M, a local, downtown coffee shop. After a difficult game full of unfriendly letter picks, we played with the tiles to discuss which name and which spelling of that name we liked best.
Kelly took a picture of the winner. And now we know her name.

Very nice. Was there a reason behind the names chosen?
Yeah tell us your reasons. I love the name Eleanor. My sister's name is Lynnora which I also love. Will you call her Elee/ Elly (not sure of spelling) for short?
Congratulations! A beautiful name. My best friend growing up is called Eleanor, and my cousin's wife who I dearly love is called Irene, so I associate really neat folks with the name. I love it.

(Tried to comment, failed. Maybe this will work, or else you'll get two comments from me.)
Loving that Scrabble helped you come up with your final decision. :)
As a name-nerd myself, I too am curious as to what (if any) diminutive forms you have in mind...
"Eleanor is a truly beautiful name.
Congratulations, to you both--it sounds like your new addition will be very fortunate to grow up not only with two wonderful parents, but a circle of friends and family who will always be there for her."
